Session Overview:
In this session, University of Victoria's Corporate Privacy Officer presents the work his office has been doing on developing a privacy program maturity assessment to increase visibility, KPIs, and delivering transformative change to the privacy management program. The session will provide a matrix outline, considerations, and lessons learned from the process, as well as report on the effectiveness this approach has had with Executive and the Board of Governors.
Prerequisites:

Knowledge of one of the following domains from your institution: governance/leadership/accountability as it relates to privacy, culture, information management, PIAs, privacy program, business processes, implementation of fair information principles, breach and incident management.
