Rav Goodison
Chief Information Officer | Capilano University 

Rav is an accomplished technology executive with over 30 years of experience across public health and post‑secondary education, she leads large‑scale digital transformations with a focus on strategy, modernization, and organizational resilience. In her role as Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Capilano University, Rav oversees Digital Technology Services and guide the institution’s digital roadmap, advancing modern infrastructure, improving service delivery, and enabling data‑driven decision‑making.

Rav’s career spans major digital program implementations, technology organizational redesigns, and the modernization of complex, legacy ecosystems across the public sector. She is known for building collaborative cultures, strengthening digital maturity, and leading teams through change with clarity and empathy.

Beyond executive leadership, Rav is also an educator, having taught undergraduate and graduate courses in health information management and health informatics. Rav holds master’s degrees in international management and health information science and is currently completing her PhD in Health Information Science. Rav’s research focuses on improving the success of digital project implementations in healthcare systems, bringing together practical experience and academic insight.

Chief Information Security Officer | University of Victoria

Eric is the Chief Information Security Officer at the University of Victoria, where he has worked for more than 20 years. He brings his focus to the human impacts of cybersecurity, not just to his own institution, but to the broader post-secondary community in BC and Canada. He believes security is an enabler of teaching and research in the academic environment, taking a 'Yes And' approach to collaborative solutions. 

He is currently co-chair of the BCNET CyberSecurity Services Committee (CSSC) and the CANARIE Research Intensive Group (RIG) CISO Committee.
