Have you been asked to sign off on a project and confirm that it is secure within reason?
What yardstick do you use to measure that risk?
What pitfalls can be avoided at this stage?

These are some of the questions that we would like to help you answer.  This session will look at UBC's view of risk assessments for research, administrative, or academic projects (eg: dbGAP, CIHI, SSPs, STRAs). We will share templates used by UBC Cybersecurity during our reviews, talk about our process, and look at what risk means to us.
