Our goal is to deliver greater efficiencies by offering a marketplace of competitively sourced information technology and general contracts. We measure growth in spend, contract participation and member satisfaction to gauge our performance.
Growth in Annual BCNET Contract Spend
Our procurement processes aims to source service agreements that meet member requirements, provide the best overall price, minimize duplication and follow a process compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements.
In 2017/18, the team of in-house BCNET procurement experts expanded the breadth, depth and adoption of new and existing general and IT contracts. Outreach events, workshops, communities of practice and member meetings were conducted to strengthen engagement with our stakeholders and continue working for the greater good.
The total higher education spend for BCNET contracts is $174M (2014–2018).
