Overview

In today's higher education landscape, students expect the same level of technological support they encounter elsewhere, alongside their traditional on-campus or online learning experiences. They acknowledge the benefits of diverse pathways for accessing content, engaging with peers, and showcasing proficiency. Can faculty effectively integrate these technologies into their already demanding workloads? Can IT and learning technology teams support this evolving norm? And who might be left behind? The BC Ministry of Post Secondary and Future Skills is moving forward with advancing a "Digital Learning Strategy," encompassing a "digital literacies framework" and new goals for digital learning implementation across institutions.

In this track, we welcome contributions from educators, learning technologists, and strategic planners to share insights gained during this period. Let's address the challenges ahead, drawing from experiences with technology integration, faculty and learner support, navigating remote and hybrid environments, and unraveling complex social dimensions in our practice amid uncertainty. The focus will also explore ongoing challenges in supporting accessible, flexible, and effective educational practices for the future.
