Multi-hybrid cloud services are primed to enhance UBC’s ability to rapidly innovate and accelerate time-to-results at scale in its academic and administrative endeavors. A new enterprise concierge capability, called the Cloud Brokerage Service (CBS) has been established to help navigate the myriad of options from a technical, financial and contractual perspective. This session focuses on how the CBS enables the university community to access the right cloud solution for ongoing or project-based initiatives. The service offers a tiered approach designed to identify the optimum cloud solution to increase efficiency, improve data security, enable flexibility and scalability, manage cost, and reduce risk.
