The University of Victoria has been using multifactor authentication (MFA) to secure access into sensitive or protected resources since 2012. In 2016, UVIC began work to extend the multifactor authentication (MFA) framework to protect access to sensitive financial information in Banner. This presentation will cover the changes to our deployment and the methodology to engage the campus community. The panelists will discuss:

  • Banner implementation strategy
  • Updates to the technologies
