In 2014, BCNET proposed a single, seamless integrated network solution for the entire public post-secondary sector in B.C. We aim to offer efficient and equitable Advanced Network access for every college, teaching university, research university and institute. Throughout the planning process, we partnered with our members and the Provincial Government to develop a proposal for an integrated network solution. And, since 2014, we have made great strides in supporting institutions to submit proposals and transition to the Advanced Network. In this panel discussion, you will hear from the members of the Integrated Network Support Advisory Committee who will speak about the project's progress since the 2016 conference. You will hear about strategies, timelines, engagement with the Ministry, as well as lessons learned. Finally, Okanagan College and Douglas College will talk about how they are benefiting from high-speed, advanced network service.
