Thanks to an alliance with BCcampus and UBC, BCNET successfully launched Kaltura in 2016 as an EduCloud-hosted shared service. The shared Kaltura licensing helps to significantly reduce costs for members and enables them to create their own CampusTube in a robust, stable and scalable environment that is 100% FIPPA compliant. Today, there are 102,000 faculty, students and staff using Kaltura at 12 institutions in B.C. In this session, a panel of seasoned Kaltura users will talk about their successes, best practices, change management, opportunities, challenges, UI, LMS integration, success stories for end-user adoption and use cases of Kaltura as a shared service. Finally, they will talk about how the user group enhances learning for all.
