A panel discussion on user and faculty support. The intention of this forum is to provide an opportunity for those who are on the front lines of educational technology to articulate what they do for users, what tools and support they need to accomplish their goals. Topics about what inter-departmental liaison and relationships are required, and to share ideas along with approaches for meeting the on-going need for user understanding and competency at our colleges and universities will also be discussed. What does an educational technologist do? As front-line educational technologists, during this time of rapid change and expansion, how do we lay the ground for digital and technical competence and awareness at our institutions? What support do we require? The intention is also to examine the different ways that various institutions are meeting users’ needs.
