The Internet of Things (IoTs) is changing the way we live, work and conduct business. It extends the ability of our day-to-day objects such as cars, TVs, fridges, toasters, clocks, etc. by connecting them to the Internet. IoT drives data intelligence and creates new opportunities for people and businesses. People can now manage their assets in better informed ways and can make more timely decisions about what they want or need to do. However, IoT also introduces challenges to the existing infrastructures. It possesses new threats and security concerns. This session will highlight the challenges and security concerns related to the IoT. It will provide guidelines and remediation for managing impact and risk associated with the IoT.
